We are a friendly and professional dance school offering high-quality training for children and adults of all ages and abilities. The school provides a supportive enviroment where dancers can build confidence, develop strong technique, and enjoy every step of their dance journey - whether dancing is fun, exams, performances, or competitions. With experienced teaching, structured classes, and exciting performance opportunities, our school is a place where dancers grow, achieve, and feel part of a team.
Why Our School Began
Sophie Louisa Theatre Dance School was founded in 2023 with the aim of creating a dance school where children and adults feel supported, valued, and inspired. Teaching is not just a job for us - it is a passion. We believe every dancer deserves high-quality training, positive encouragement, and opportunities to shine, both in and out of the studio. We adore teaching dancers of all ages, from young beginners to adults (3+) returning to dance, and take pride in helping each individual reach their full potential.

Staff
Miss Sophie is a fully qualified dance teacher with a Level 4 Diploma with IDTA and Acro Module 1 qualification with Acrobatic Arts. Having trained in all theatre styles subjects of dance from the age of five, Miss Sophie has extensive knowledge in Ballet, Tap, Modern & Contemporary, Theatre Craft, Commercial, Acrobatics, Musical Theatre, Acting for Camera and Singing. Before her teaching career, Miss Sophie has performed in numerous productions across the North East, competed in dance and singing competitions across the UK, bringing real performance experience into every class. Teaching up to six days a week, Miss Sophie is passionate about nurturing confident, disciplined, and happy performers in a safe and encouraging environment.
